Using a Lifx bulb is great but when it stops functioning it can be pretty ugly. And as a solution you will have only one option left and that is resetting your Lifx bulb. Besides that, if you want to give it to someone else or shift your house then the necessity of resetting might emerge. 

The reason can be different but the process will remain the same. However, the resetting process of the Lifx bulb can be a bit different.

So let’s get to the point on how you can reset your Lifx bulb.

 Resetting the Lifx bulb 

1. Start with powering your bulb on, then turn it off and on for 5 times and wait for a few moments.
2. After that you will start noticing it flashing.
3. When the cycling stops that means the unpairing process is done.
4. After you are done with unpairing, head over to the Lifx app and start with a new set up process. While doing this make sure your bulb is powered on.

And you are all done. But what if you own an old model of Lifx bulb such as Lifx A21 original bulb and you need to reset it. Well, in that case you need to follow the below steps: 

1. Turn the bulb off.
2. Flicking in the opposite direction, look for the reset button.
3. Move the reset switch and the reset is done.(You don’t have to flick it back)
4. Turn the power on of your bulb And it will cycle blue, red and green and once it settle on white, you are all set to go through the new set up process.
