Universal Production Music’s Alexa skill has made a humongous mark in history. It is probably the first production company to have done so in the history of music.

The leading music company has finally launched an Alexa skill to let users browse and listen to a wide array of music from their massive catalog.

It’s probably the first one to come forward and make a mark in the ever-increasing industry of voice technology. With the help of this intuitive technology, users will have even more choice in how the search, listen or discover music for their various projects.

All you have to do is say, “Alexa, ask Universal Production Music to..” followed by the name of the song, and voila! There you go.

A Bigger and Better Music Library – Just a Voice Away.

Universal Production Music’s Alexa skill is the audio-incarnation of the pre-existing search engine of the company. All you have to do is enable the app and confirm your account details, and you can access any song from the leading company’s music library.

The users can ask for a specific genre, music, band, or even the literal version of their mood, such as “relaxing piano music” or “indie blues”. You name it, and you have it. Also, if you want to listen to a song later, you can just add it to the playlist by asking Alexa to do so.

Universal Production Music’s Alexa Skill to be a Revolutionizing Step in History.

Michael Sammis, president of the Universal Production Music said in a statement that the intuitive technology reigned by voice has skyrocketed in recent years.

A Gartner study supported the argument by proving that nearly thirty percent of all browsing operations will happen through voice by the end of this year. Sammis acknowledged that Universal Production Music’s Alexa skill is an essential and significant step in the music production industry.

He gushed and said that his team was excited to have taken the first step towards providing their clients with a hands-free music experience from their very own music library.

Alexa’s revamped features.

Albeit Universal Production Music’s Alexa skill integrated into its voice app is aimed at producers, Alexa has ceaselessly upgraded herself with new and improved music search features.

She understands when a user is requesting the live version of a track, and when they are demanding the standard recorded version. She plays them accordingly, thanks to Amazon’s March update which granted Alexa the ability to distinguish variations on a song from Amazon Music.

She can not only switch from one variation to another in the middle of a song but also conduct musical announcements. She has already proved that when she revealed Katy Perry’s new album’s release date.

Amazon leading the rat-race.

If music producers, soundtrack creators, and musicians who need to put musical pieces together start using Amazon Music for their work, it will surely have an upper hand over its competitors.

Amazon is, however, steadfastly growing in every aspect – be it voice technology, smart home automation, or a musical symphony. But nonetheless, let’s hope the Universal Production Music’s Alexa skill becomes a massive success.
