This china based company has claimed to use Zigbee3.0 protocol to make users enjoy fastest and energy-efficient smart home technology  along with smart automation system so that they can connect the device with Aqara app and it will work automatically so no one have to worry about operating it manually. But if you are not a fan of automation you can control it via button or your mobile from anywhere. 

Thanks to its’ wide range of smart home eco-system compatibility, that allows users to operate it with popular voice assistances such as Google assistance, Siri, Alexa, Homekit and IFFTTT. It enables access to set routines for automatic adjustance at different times of the day. Also this device is designed to be compatible with various roll-types in different shapes and sizes. 

With Aqara’s battery saving technologies the new Roller Shade Driver’s battery doesn’t required to charge every week as it lasts up to 2 months, also it can support constant power supply via USB Type-C cables. 

Additionally, one of its’ plus point is it takes minimum time to install just by screwing the device and inserting the beaded cord of your roller shade which makes it super easy to fit.  

It can get easily fitted with your existing beaded cord due to its variety of included adapters and you don’t have to replace anything. 

Availability and pricing 

The Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1 has already got launched on Amazon UK pricing £59.99 and is about to get launched in France in upcoming few weeks. Though there is no news about it getting launched in US.
