Guide to How you can reset your HomePod and HomePod mini

Your experience with HomePod can be great but what if it stops working for some reason and you want to reset it to make it work again, or you want to give it to another person. Reasons can be different but you have to know about how you can reset your HomePod and HomePod mini. The process is pretty simple and straightforward. 

Before get started make sure you disconnect the HomePod if it is paired with another one. 

Resetting HomePod and HomePod mini

Follow this below steps to reset your HomePod:

1. 1. Launch the Home app.
   2. In the device section find out your HomePod.
   3. Press and hold on that.
   4. Scroll down to the bottom, click on reset HomePod.
   5. And then select the remove accessory.

And you are all done with resetting your HomePod. 

However, if you want to reset your HomePod on the speaker itself then just 

1. Plug out the HomePod, wait for a few seconds and then plug it in again.
2. Then again wait for a few seconds and press and hold on the top of your HomePod.
3. You will notice that the white spinning light will turn red, by this time do not move your finger from the HomePod.
4. Siri will announce the resetting of HomePod and after you hear the beep sound three times, you can move your finger.

And your HomePod will be ready to restart again.
