Disney has introduced their own custom Alexa voice assistant that will be available for usage in Disney land hotel room from upcoming year, 2022. Earlier this year in September, Amazon has revealed a little details about the ‘Hey Disney’ voice assistant. And now Disney has revealed  which hotels are going to get access of ‘Hey Disney’. Not only this, Disney is bringing a lot more upgrades with other feature for creating more advanced experience for visitors in Disneyland.

Hey Disney

The features of this Hey Disney of Disney land will be very similar to the assistant currently present in Disney World. Besides having other standard Alexa skills this assistant is going to offer visitors other interactive skills like providing stories, jokes, games featuring Disney’s own character and more. To provide hands free- access for visitors to use certain elements of entertainment Disney is going to introduce them with Magicband+. This whole hands free initiative was taken by Disney for the safety purpose of Visitors in this pandemic era.

Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro stated “Since the beginning, people have felt a powerful connection to the Disney brand. As we build original, state-of-the-art experiences that further expand our favorite stories and even tell brand new ones, we look forward to a future filled with connections, endless possibilities and magic for Disney fans everywhere.”

With Disney being the first to have their own customized Alexa voice assistant, other companies are equally showing their interest in Amazon’s Alexa custom assistant. The reason behind this growing interest is it will reduce a lot of time and costs. Companies don’t have to build, design or set anything differently. So it will benefit them in various ways.
