Google is stepping way more ahead by introducing a bunch of new features to their services in India. With these new features, users of Google assistant in India can easily get to set up their vaccination appointment while Google pay users will be able to command in Hinglish (a mixture of English and Hindi) to make any financial transaction.

Google pay commands

Google pay is now one of the most popular apps for financial transactions in India. So for adding many spices to its feature Google is going to introduce a speech text feature. With this New advanced AI, users just need to command which bank and which account number they want to send money and as soon as the recipient confirms, their money will be sent in seconds. The app can understand both the language Hindi and English but this new addition of Hinglish (the mixture of English and Hindi) will create much flexibility among users in India.

“Money is integral to our lives, and our experience with it should be as seamless as our everyday conversations. The introduction of Hinglish is our attempt to make these interactions even more intuitive and natural via Google Pay,”.“In the same vein, we also announced the upcoming launch of speech to text, which allows users to use voice input to pay directly to another user’s bank account – they can voice account numbers in Hindi or English into the app to enter the account number, which is then confirmed with the sender before initiating the payment.” Google stated in a Blog Post while introducing the features.

Google to set a vaccination appointment

Now covid-19 vaccination is widely available throughout the whole nation of India, but it’s still a bit hectic for most people, especially from remote areas to set a vaccination on the COWIN app. So to make it much easier, Google will complete all of the setup processes for users to book a vaccination slot just by commanding. Google is hoping to launch this feature soon for other countries as well.

“We have worked closely with COWIN to enable this integration, where people everywhere will be able to easily book a vaccine appointment in a more guided manner. It will empower them with access to information and healthcare that would otherwise have been out of reach – a telling example of how technology can bridge gaps in access, and make a tangible difference in people’s lives.” Google stated in a Blog Post.
