How you can pair HomePod with your Apple TV
Before starting with anything, make sure that both of the devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. And also check whether the Apple AirPlay is on or not. If not, then head over to settings and tap on AirPlay, then turn it on.
Then make sure to set the HomePod in the same room as the Apple TV within the Apple Home app.
When all of these are done head over the next steps.
If you are using the original HomePod and you are done with the above mentioned steps then you are going to get an automatic pop up on your Apple TV display saying “use HomePod as TV speakers?”
Click use as TV speaker and turn Home cinema audio on.
In case, you are using minis then it won’t work and you have to do it manually:
- Head over to the settings of your Apple TV.
- Select video and audio.
- Scroll to find out audio output.
- There you will find a list of AirPlay speakers.
- Select the speaker you want to connect and it will connect in between a few seconds.
